EMBERS 29.9.23
During the first five weeks, participants will spend time in the Cornish woodland, where they’ll learn survival skills and gain insights into the ways that their ancestors navigated the world. This process is designed to instil increased confidence, a positive self-image, and a sense of well-being in the participants.
In the sixth week, the program culminates with an overnight immersion in the woods. Here participants will put their newfound skills to the test, learning to stay warm and fed whilst also grounding themselves in a deeper sense-of-place.
By combining wilderness exploration and self discovery, the Ember program seeks to empower young adults with a stronger understanding of their unique nature and purpose in the context of the present time. It’s an opportunity for participants to unlock some doors, rewild themselves and embrace a more meaningful and purposeful life.
